The setting of the Costa Calida and Mar Menor is truly incredible, with more than 253 Km of Mediterranean beach, around 320 days of sunshine per year enjoying annual average temperatures of around 21Ίc and ideal for a relaxing holiday year round. Its an enclosed lagoon with no dangerous currents making the water safe for children of any age. The beaches are great - clean and sandy and many have the prestigious "Blue Flag" award with lifeguards in the Summer. There are so many miles of beach that you can always find a quiet spot, even in August.
LOS ALCAZARES is just 2 km away with a range of shops, bars & restaurants. The promenade stretches for 8km, and are dotted with "chiringuitos" - bars selling a variety of Tapas dishes, refreshments & local beer!

RESERVATION DEPOSIT:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure the apartment for your chosen dates.
The balance is due 8 weeks before travel. If travel is within 10 weeks of booking the full amount is required to be paid.
SECURITY BOND:
£150 security bond required on booking. Refunded within 15 days of your departure (subject to inspection) once the keys have been safely returned to us, and assuming no damage has been caused to the apartment.
PAYMENT:
Our primary method of payment is by Bank Transfer. However, for convenience, payment can be made by Credit/Debit card in Sterling or Euro using PayPal (subject to convenience fee).
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE:
The property is available from 16:00 hours on arrival and should be vacated by 11:00 hours on the day of departure (local time) - although we will try to accommodate earlier arrivals and late departures where possible.
If you have a late arrival/departure and you wish to remain in the apartment until you leave then if you pay an extra 30 the apartment will not be relet on your final day.

ACCESSIBILITY
Roda is a wheelchair friendly resort - there is ramp and lift access to all apartment blocks, plus a lift in the club house.
Whilst the apartment is not specially adapted for wheelchair users, there is a large walk in shower with easy access. A lift provides access from the car park or main entrance to the apartment.
Please note that although the main door into the apartment will accommodate a wheelchair or mobility scooter, internal doors are only standard width.

Beach Club
The beach club on La Manga del Mar Menor certainly has the "wow" factor. The stunning building boasts swimming pool, jacuzzi and solarium plus direct access to the Mediterranean beach where you can try the water sports. Eat gourmet food in the restaurant or simple snacks from the pool bar. The views from the upstairs relaxation area are quite spectacular. It is just such a great place to relax away from the swimming pool and bar area and just enjoy a quiet, intimate cocktail, whilst looking over the over the Mediterranean sea. With toys for the children to keep them occupied and lifeguards by the pool to keep them safe, you can just chill out.

BEACHES AND WATER SPORT
Soft sandy beaches of the Mar Menor coupled with the calm waters make it ideal for children and for the extensive water sports that are on offer here. These include Jet skiing, wind surfing, sailing, fishing, snorkelling, and scuba diving. The area is great for children and many of the beaches have been deservedly awarded the blue flag
Golf Information
Roda Golf Resort has an excellent 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Dave Thomas.
The practically flat ground has been transformed into an interesting and undulating golf terrain, with strategically placed lakes and carefully designed tree planting integrated in to the design, to challenge all levels of golfers. Watch out for the 7th Hole - 174m Par 3, played over water with the green on a small island!
But if you fancy a change you don't just have to play at Roda! There are a plethora of courses in Murcia, and just over the border into Alicante, that are all within a 1 hour drive.

Most clubs require a valid handicap certificate and there is usually a maximum handicap allowed.
